Royal Jelly is the creamy substance secreted by the hypopharyngeal glands of worker bees. Its name comes from the fact that the larvae destined to become queens, just like the adult queens, are fed exclusively with this food, in large quantities.
In the Royal Jelly is the determining factor that turns the bee into a queen. It is a rich source of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. However, many components of Royal Jelly still remain undefined.
It has a bright color, from whitish to light yellow. It is characterized by a light aroma and sour taste, which is due to the very low pH it has (3.5 - 4.5).
The consumption of Royal Jelly has very positive effects on the human body, at all ages, which have been documented after studies by scientists and doctors of various specialties.
Its daily consumption should range from 0.5 to 1 gram for adults, while the dose for young children should not exceed 1/10 of a gram. We consume it in the morning, placing the dose under the tongue. The consumption period ranges from at least 45 to 60 days.
